Our Founders
Founded by Le Mans Winning Engineers Steve Wills and Stuart Taylor, we bring over 60 years of experience in high performance and heritage engineering.
Steve Wills – Co‑Founder
With over 35 years in professional motorsport and high‑performance engineering, Steve’s career began at Nissan Motorsports Europe in 1988. His early work spanned Group C, WRC, European Touring Car, BTCC, and regional rally championships — including the 1995 British Rally Championship title with Alister McRae and David Senior.
In 1990, Steve played a pivotal role in one of motorsport’s most iconic moments: Mark Blundell’s legendary Le Mans qualifying lap in the Nissan R90CK. Having built the engine and overseen engine telemetry, Steve was on the pit wall as the team celebrated a lap still regarded as one of the greatest in endurance racing history. Steve has over 25 participations at the Le Mans 24 hours on his CV, making him one of the most experienced engineers at the race.
His career highlights include:
- 1989-90 Group C with Nissan R89C and R90CK
- 1988 ETCC with the Nissan Skyline R31 RB20DET
- 1991 Australian Touring Car Championship with the Skyline R32 GT‑R
- World Rally Championship with the 4WD Nissan Sunny GTiR
- BTCC with the Nissan Primera
- Crawford Daytona Prototype 2003 – 2006 Head of engine development and electronics
- Chief Engineer at Rebellion Racing, leading Aston Martin, Judd, and Toyota LMP1 programmes 2007 – 2010
- Senior Development Engineer at Cosworth since 2015, delivering projects such as:
- 4WD Nissan LMP1 v6 Turbo Engine (2015)
- Aston Martin Valkyrie Road, AMR Pro, and WEC variants
- McLaren Honda F1 engine recreations (1988–1992)
- Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 and derivatives

There, he played a pivotal role in multiple class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Corvette Racing programme, overseeing all vehicle and team electrical systems.
A true innovator, Stuart was the driving force behind the first commercially available solid‑state Power Distribution Unit (PDU) in motorsport — a breakthrough that has since become industry standard.
Beyond his Le Mans success, Stuart has:
- Founded and runs PH Performance Products in Mooresville, NC
- Worked with the Action Express Cadillac IMSA GTP team
- Delivered electrical and systems engineering solutions for some of the most demanding race environments in the world
